In crafting this design, our aim was to enhance comfort and create a tranquil retreat ideal for cherishing summer moments. This project holds special significance for me, as it was designed for someone who has become a truly dear person in my life, in collaboration with a colleague and friend from university. Mindful of Erbil’s warm climate, we strategically reduced southern exposure and opted for seclusion on the east to accommodate leisurely summer mornings. Expansive openings to the north and west were deliberately placed to invite cool breezes and establish a seamless flow, ensuring a refreshing and serene atmosphere in this summer vacation farmhouse.
